If there is no crime, what criminals? You can't have criminals without crime. You like the Island Representative, who informed me that convicted drug dealers who were out on appeal, were innocent until the appeal had been heard. I assume that was his justification to his socializing with Jr. Moss. In the U. S. under these guidelines there are a lot of innocent people on death row.
A great deal of the information included in Sand Money comes from the staff of Cutlass Bay. I was friends with the Cat Islanders, while you appear to prefer the company of the Ingersols. Ms Crawford in the years before 1999, I was accepted by the real people of Cat Island. I do not believe you have had that acceptance since you returned to your childhood home. You are described as "uppity."
Robby invited you to dinner when you questioned him about the rumors (started by the Russell Family) that he himself had torched Cutlass Bay Club. He invited you to dinner to tell you the entire story of 1999. You declined stating that you were afraid Robby would spit in your food. (Since Robby does not go near the food, maybe you knew the islanders feeling toward you and were afraid the Cutlass staff would spit in your food. I assure you they would not have, since you would have been Robby's guest)
It was my experience in the ten years on Cat Island that the people who denied that there was drug trafficking on the Island were those involved. I'll reserve you a copy of Sand Money, it details all the crimes you missed or chose to ignore.
Need Info: Mrs. Crawford, Sand Money is about Cat Island. A very slight mention of Ralph Ingersol will be included in Sand Money. I would like to have the true facts. I have been researching into what necessitated Mr. Ingersol's business departure from the U. S. to England. The story was a topic of cocktail gossip among the foreigners on the island a few years ago. I have to admit that I wasn't interested in Ralph Ingersol and didn't pay much attention. Want to do some real reporting, get me the information. The internet has been a valuable research tool but I don't have enough information available to properly research the topic. I believe it related to securities. Need some good old Island Gossip to further the research.
